About Me

For a number of years I worked on a volunteer basis with an organisation that supports people who had been victims of crime. My core work of advocacy and emotional support was with people who had been victims of a sexual crime and domestic violence. I also have accreditation from this organisation for my work with victims of sexual violence.

Prior to working in private practice, I also worked as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with the organisation Mind, where I worked with clients with a diverse range of issues from mild to extreme forms of psychological difficulties or life issues.

These included anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, sexuality, sexual abuse, bereavement, attainment of life goals and life choices.

I also work in primary care psychiatric units with adults and young people as an Independent Mental Health Advocate.
